Frustrated Fitness Equipment Buyer Writes Corporate HQ; Details to Come

My frustration with Fitness Depot Ottawa, which has been simmering for the last three months now, abruptly burst into flame last night. It’s official: they’ve finally reduced me to the level of openly disgruntled consumer.

I’m tired of feeling overcharged, under-served and disappointed. To cope, I fired off a letter to the Corporate Office containing some personal insight and a suggestion.

I’m not betting any meaningful change will come of it—the Canadian private sector has never dazzled me with their willingness to win back customers the way I’ve experienced US vendors do—but I expect a response.

In the meantime, it’s back to buying used from the classifieds. Stay tuned.
