  • I think weightlifting feeds a part of my being that would otherwise starve sitting at a desk all day, or strangle to death under my necktie. #
  • My favourite B-day gift this year? A digital food scale. Food labels where the nutritional information was per gram used to drive me nuts.
  • I’ve always been into measurement since starting this regimen. My measuring cup set and measuring spoons are present at all my home meals.

  • My fitness focus this week has switched from weight loss to bodybuilding. 37 pounds later, the fat is getting in short supply…
  • I recalculated my goal to slow down my weight loss, which again was getting too fast. Wasn’t it?
  • Losing every other day = too much of a “good” thing , if I want to keep muscle on. I’m now targeting a 1 pound loss per week.
